The Anointing of the Sick is a beautiful sacrament intended for the spiritual and physical healing of the sick. It is not ONLY to be administered to those who are actively dying. We encourage you to please reach out to the parish well before you or your loved one is on the verge of death.
Generally the Rite for Anointing of the Sick consists of:
- Confession (if possible)
- Apostolic Pardon (if near death)
- Anointing
- Holy Communion (if physically able to swallow)
